Hey, hey - come out and play :)

Word on the street is that this is "National De-lurking Week," so if you are a lurker on my blog, won't you drop me a comment to say hello? :) I'd love to hear from you.

Btw, no, that picture is not me. Nice eye makeup though, huh? ;)

Ahh, I'm a lurker! But only because I didn't have a blog of my own. But now you can be a lurker (or not) on mine: www.sonjaoutdoormama.blogspot.com
Your blog was my inspiration to start my own.

I used to be a lurker with many different names. I'm a better person for it now, but I hurt some people in the process.

Hi Amy,

Found you originally through the July 04 babies group, I have an almost 18-month-old boy Will and am expecting # 2 in July.
Love your blog for the interesting topics (we're pretty like minded I think!), but I also REALLY love your photography, and hope you'll share some tips soon! I can't believe how good you are since it sounds like you are still learning, but your photos are incredible. So, that's my request for 2006, please give us tips for taking GOOD photos of our kids (and bellies!!)

Thank you and happy new year,
Anna

Anna - welcome and thx for commenting. :) congrats on baby #2! thanks for the compliments. :) a good tip for photographing kids is to get down on their level. it's tempting to shoot from above just cuz we are taller than they are and are used to shooting while standing, but it's better to crouch down and get eye-to-eye with them. :) hope that helps a bit. maybe i can come up w/ some other tips down the road. :)
