We're home :)
We got home safe and sound last night. It's so good to be back in CO. :)
I am in a major house cleaning mode right now (and I have tons of laundry to do) so I probably won't post about our trip for a day or two.
Also, a quick congrats to another friend (Heather) who had a successful VBAC yesterday and welcomed her second son, Cole, into the world! :) Congratulations mama!

Welcome home!!
welcome home and congrats to your friend on her VBAC. I just learned yesterday that I'm Due in Oct. and my OB/Gyn is completely against trying for a VBAC, I'm a little disappointed but at the same time feel as though HE's making the best decision. I know a C-section is so much faster and my body was simply not cooperating last September when i was laboring with Avery. these babies are going to be 13 months apart and I am guess that's part of the reasoning for sticking with another Csection.
yes, I'm thrilled to know you are expecting your second. Ava gets to experiance being a big sister, thats so wonderful. I think that is my biggest happiness with my own pregnancy...knowing that my Avery will have a sibling to play with. I'm just feeling that if these two are going to be so close in age, we really should have done the twin thing lol
not sure how to manage a fresh yearling and a newborn at the same time but I guess I'll figure it out. Busy arms for sure
Hey - glad you had a great vacation. I just wanted to say - don't buy the ergo infant insert! I can tell it's a good carrier, and it definitely carries the weight, but Emaline HATES the position it forces her to be in so we'll have to wait until she is bigger and can fit without the insert. So I just wanted to say I'll send it to you instead so in a month or so (just to give it another chance) if you'd like - I'd rather someone get some use out of it. :)
Dawn - Thanks!
Avery's mom - Congrats to you on your pregnancy. :) I think if you are seriously interested in a VBAC, it wouldn't hurt to get a second opinion. I've had two friends who've had successful VBACs in the past 2 weeks now.
And I'm sure it will take some getting used to having two little ones, but you will manage. :)
Miriam - That's a bummer that the infant insert isn't that great. I wonder if it would've helped if she had it from when she was just a wee one? I've heard good things about some slings/wraps too (I can't remember which off the top of my head), but I know that when you have a heavy baby, it's harder to use a sling than it is something like the Ergo where their weight is distributed better. Thanks for the offer for the insert if you don't end up liking it. :) That's very nice of you.
Glad you're back and look forward to hearing about your trip!
